Outdoor kitchen fire in Irving Tx.

Summer means, food, family and outdoor fun, camping and cookouts are a great way to spend time together but open flames need to be tended frequently and stay contained to ensure no accidents happen.

Flames in the outdoor kitchen spread catching the surrounding cabinets and blackening appliances.

SERVPRO of East Fort Worth came out to help removed charred wood from the structure and clean the smoke and soot covered patio furniture and awning surrounding the kitchen and help clean up some of the water left after the fire department had put out the flames.

An average of 6,200 outdoor fires occur annually due to gas grills, and July has the highest number of incidents reported. Be safe this summer and remember to never leave a fire unattended and keep a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit on hand.
